I backed up spyro 3 us/ntsc with the pdx +2 trainer ntsc/pal selector patch.

this is the newer patch that is comepletely correct but i can't figure out the trainer screen. when the game boots on my ps2 (i am not modded, use the gs2 knife method) The screen stays black and music starts. I think this is a menu but can't see anything. If i press start the game starts as normal, but is there something im missing, e.g. how does the trainer work here?
