Hi,
I tend to use Verbatim CDRS because of there Dark blue layer, the PS2 and PS1 lasers pick them up so well. Theres nothing wrong with the media you have but if see some verbatims get some you wont be disapointed.
Also i use CLONE CD for all my PS1 and PS2 backups, but not all writers are compatible so check to see if yours is. CDR-Win is also very good for backups, so its really down to what you like.
As for burn speed i write a 4 X speed but others burn at full speed depending on there writers speed ofcourse, once again its down to what you feel comftable with.
