Freearc was installed previously. I had to jump through quite a few hoops with no coherent error message.
I would suggest you add something to the error message to tell the user what may be wrong.
Perhaps a list of all required programs should be added, maybe even check for them on startup.
Also, the converter says the conversion completes successfully even when no files are created.
