It could be the Cd-R Discs he's using..
For example: On your machine it loads fine because you use Sony CDR's etc..
Because some machines are very picky from my point of view..Over the yrs..
Try burning on the different discs..
Verbatim,Imation and Sony etc..
Don't use Generics..
