Two Words... "VOB Files"

DVD's contain VOB files that a normal cdrom/writer cant read or identify, Only a DVD Rom or a DVD Burner can identify them.

PS2 DVD's at present cannot be backed up seccessfully with any method even if you do have a DVD burner!

DVD burner's cost something like £2850.00 so don't event think about going to buy one and at present there is not any software available for copying PS2 DVD's, although someone is probably writing some as i type!
