Im using a NEO2.2 chip with the Region X cd to boot my backups. I use Clone CD and i dont patch, maybe someone out there can answer the question about whether Gameshark version 1.0 needs patched games to boot.
For ease and if you have the cash treat your self to a Region X or new gameshark!!!!
