The problem was there, I messed up with setup files but it's fixed now. I've tested it personally on 2 of my computers.
xxdgt123xx also doesn't report back so I guess you've made a mistake somewhere along the way. As for cab sizes, I've tested this on my GOG version so if you have retail or Steam version something may differ (maybe more language files, don't know). Is the file size OK to fit on DVD5? If yes, no need to complain
