Well, I have a similar problem. I first had the chip installed in a store, and they messed it up. Since then, the tray opens, but sometimes at really FAST speeds. I took it to another store, they were able to install another chip that now works (more or less, see my post about that ####://www.fileforums.com/cgi-bin/UB/UltraBoard.cgi?action=Read&BID=2&TID=10702&SID=839 2 ) but the tray still opens very quick when I do the action replay switch.
I guess I also have a problem on that pins that control the tray.
