I know Joe has already locked this but one last word on it.

Joe has already told you we dont provide help with CD-Key related problems but I can tell you you have probably lost your money on this game unless you have the Original Owners Origin detail or the original owner has signed the game over to you completely via Origin.

I've been thru this before with Battlefield 2 for my son many years ago, we also bought a second hand copy of BF2 but it was thru someone we know well. I know it was a bit of a hassle to do but we did manage to do it. It was so many years ago now that I dont remember exactly what had to be done, but it did involve us needing the Original Player Profile for that game.
We also did the same for a second hand copy of BF 2142.

What you are probably trying to do is use the original CD-Key with 'your' Origin account, if that is the case then its not going to work as the game is already registed to another Origin account.

You now have 2 choices, either contact the original seller to get the correct login details, or contact EA. I doubt EA will help you tho as you are not the original owner.
I dont think Origin allows second hand games to be swapped or transfered via Origin now tho?

It is definately not worth buying a second hand EA/Origin game if you intend playing it online yourself.
