[PLEASE HELP ME.]

hey everyone,
I have a question. im trying to back up my shipwreckers cd, as you probably know its old. But I dont know how to sodder, so would game hunter work to play one of my backups? and where does it plug into? oh and it says for use with playstation versions 100x to 7xxx, well how do i find out the version?
