Yes. there are plenty of ff9 patches at megagames, but NO they are NOT protection fix patches. The fmv fix is for the ntsc version that kallisto did something to, and one of the fmv sequences had errors on the first disc. This patch only fixes that sequence. If you look thru I think you will find they are basically ntsc2pal patches or non-working pal patches. It has been said a thousand times that the pal ff9 can't be copied, except with clonecd. I don't know what the case is with the ntsc version.

To the first bloke who brought up this topic, I think there is a real chance that the copy protection has outdone the crackers. ff9 is fairly new, but how long has spyro3 been out? There is still no working patch for it. It is not an easy job to crack the games, and the developers can make more difficult if they wish. I certainly wouldn't be holding my breath for patches in the near future.
