Sorry if i resumed up this thread but we discussed here! Anyway i'm able to do a repack with only one language in a DVD5 without resampling any vp6' file.
Delete all language' folders you don't use.
Compressing separately both folder SEACREST and VEHICLES with arc+precomp and then compressing both again with arc in only one file, you get 906MB (instead of, uncompressed, 3,54GB).
Compressing all folders and all data of the folder UI except the folder MOVIES with arc+precomp+arc (again) and you get 190MB (instead of, uncompressed, 460MB).
Now you have all folders and datas uncompressed in the root and two compressed self-extracted files.
I tried with only IT folder for language (italian) and i got a DVD5 with 164MB of free space!
The other language folders are smaller than the italian one, the only bigger (for few MB) is the Russian one.
Now, i'm not able to modify the installer so i don't know if i can do it with inno or if i have to modify the cab original file and replace unnecessary files with dummy one and add the two compressed with arc+precomp.
The main problem is the time you need to compress both SEACREST and VEHICLES folders (my machine took about one hour. However the decompression phase is much faster than this!)
Maybe someone can help me to make a nice installer now?
