Bersjam, I think I know what you are on about, but you may want to edit your above message if I am wrong. As cdrwin is imaging a disk it tells you what % is complete. If it finds a scratch or dirt on the surface and can't read that part, then it will class it as an error and just under the % complete line, an error line will appear. If there are no errors found reading the disk then this line will not appear. There probably is some form of log, but I just watch as it images to see if any errors are there. If you have never come across errors then good luck to you, as they are only a pain.

No errors appeared when using cdrwin but when we tried playing the backup burned with cdrwin we could see the intro movie and hear the sounds but playing the game was impossible, the "loading line" stopped and nothing happened anymore!
Since my first post i tried burning the game with clonecd, nero and cdrwin as a test of the best burning program: clonecd frooze at 6% while burning, the other 2 programs burned a succesfull yet unplayable cd!
I think i will stop trying making backups of this game, my dustbin is getting full of bad copies...
