Unicorn, many thanks for your fix and instructions for getting the game back in English!!!
I was waiting for this fix literally for years :P
Now, if only someone could crack Peter Jackson's King Kong Gamer Edition, which uses DX10 as opposed to DX9 of the non-gamer release. This edition can be download for free but the copy protection is still intact.
