Yeah it sounds like your original may have a scratch, but there are other options. Give cdrwin a try, even if the disk has errors, it will keep going and tell you how many there are. Also before you use cdrwin give the disk surface a clean. But make sure you know how to clean the surface, or you can do more damage (centre to outside, NOT round in circles). When or how does cdrwin tell you how many errors there are? I made a new backup without burning and didn't get any spontaneous error report.Does one have to look it up in a log file?If so where can i find it?
