Reinstall the chip the way the diagram said using pins 1,2,4,7,8. pins 3,5 and 6 are not used with this board because the EA tray eject (boot sequence) isnt supported. you must patch EA games. You also must use the AR2 v2.01 to load the backups ,no other version of ar2 or region x will work....Good luck.
