i guess you installed the update for the disk check release version, NOT the online version?
actually nope, scratch that.. no original disk, got iso from friend, but got a cdkey from some online store...
dodgy to say the least...
buy the game PROPERLY.. ie: go to the store.. buy the game, inside you get a nice shiny disk, and a cdkey...
you just screwed yourself cutting corners and trying to think you'd get a bargain.. bad luck
