no...the color is a
metallic blue (&
every TY I've ever bought is metallic blue, even from re-distributors like microboards). I got these from DiscMakers, the lablel of which on the outside of the drum read a big bold TAIYO YUDEN in red...w/ a part # of CDR80WPY100SBZM.
