hmm, doesn't look like a driver issue, the crash addresses are from userland, if it was video card related you'd probably bsod
actually... seems it could be a valve game issue.. does this happen on other games too?

if it doesn't then heres a few steps i'd suggest
1. if your pc is overclocked then turn the clocking back to normal
2. get latest video card drivers (you're xp right?.. theme looked xp)
3. update direct x
4. if the crash persists, see if you can run the game in safe mode (think team fortress has an option like that)..
5. virus scan (could be something nasty.. the instruction address is quite irregular for a ring 3 application)
6. if all else fails i would suggest an os reinstall
