It was quite a headache to play around with the hex editor, but its working now. Thanks a lot.
And a word of advice for the people trying to created a DVD out of the 3 cds, follow the above instructions to the letter or you will have to learn about Hex conversions and application exe checksums...which will not be a pleasant experience.
