More seriously though, computer games shops are going to be big losers from digital distribution (and online activation will both cost sales and increase returns) so you'd think he'd wise up a little.

Agreed - I just wanted to point out that we, as customers, only see part of the picture with regard to what publishers do and what expenses they incur.
