I only ask because some will let use use kernelmode debug routines and effectively 'catch' the opcodes before the game gets them, allowing you to debug but without the game knowing. You could use CE (cheatengine) if you're not already and enable this option in its config. Might be worthwhile.

I am using the CE debugger. After I enabled kernel mode and ran the debugger the game stopped responding so after an hour later I just terminated the process.
I don't think the game went through any QA testing so hopefully there will be patches/updates soon.
