How does the Swap Disc works?

I have CDRWIN-demo version.
whatsetting do i have to use when copying PSX games?
I can Patch and stuff but i wonder if i have to use same settings as when im about to make a ISO and CUE file.is it smart to burn directly from cd to cd?

ive burned at 8x sometimes and they still work,but is it okactually?
