Well the repack fixes work fine with my game. No crashes anywhere. Plus I have a nice shiny silver tin on my games shelve to look at to. :-)
I've went and made a full backup image of my game for two reasons.
1: The DVD is extremely difficult to remove from its case. There's this massive plastic peg that the disc sits on instead of a usual push button type release. I'm always afraid I'm going to break it when taking it out.
2: I'm using a FOV fix
http://www.widescreengamingforum.com...r=asc&start=25 to remove the 16:9 letterbox view on my 4:3 monitor. This fix doesn't work with the repack .exe's so I'm stuck using a full backup image until some smart cookie releases a mini image.
Not that I'm complaining. 6.7 gigs of hard-drive space is a small price to pay for peace of mind.
