Simply create a video DVD but add a new directory (outside AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS) with the necessary data files in it. You can even create a "hybrid" DVD that autostarts under Windows (via AUTORUN.INF in the root directory) but plays as a plain video DVD in a software/standalone DVD player. For your tests, use a rewritable DVD in order to make no coasters.
