I'm hoping there is a basic answer to this issue that i've missed.
I have just built a new pc using a 3GHZ core2duo cpu, 8800GT etc etc.
However, Since this build any game .exe i try to paste over or delete is always locked. I get the dialogue box for this file is in use and even using programs to delete files before windows start up have no effect.
I can't replace any exe's so that i can use my games without the cd's and it's getting very frustrating. Strangely every once in a while [maybe 1 out of 50] it does delete the file when asked so i can use a crack.
Please help, i'm thinking it may be based around the features of the cpu and there is something i've not disabled correctly. Any input is greatly received.
