I have read everything thats in this thread but im still having soooo many problems lol to begin i have no idea how to install the patches so than to my understanding u have to install the DAT file thats inside the folder to retailexe folder in the games directory, which i did and nothing the game still asking me for a cd in order to run. Than i read that the DAT files are the EXE crack from there im even more lost
so i tried changing the .DAT file to .exe and it turned into a exe icon with the command & conquer 3 logo so i placed it in the main directory taking out the original exe and tried running it and an error poped out even before the game loads. So than which patch do i use ?? theres a mentioning of the latest patch 1.8 which only comes with the DAT file where does that go into? and do i need to change the DAT into exe or i am doing it alllll wrong
