Just asking because of curiosity and for maybe future titles as I am not interested in halo 2. Halo 1 also sucked in my opinion. So I wonīt give the second shot a try^^
Maybe something to add to the rules? Nevertheless we saw some Win-98-fixes for games which should only support 2k/XP-Systems... Canīt remember exactly... Doom 3 maybe? Or was it some other unreal-engined game!?

Who cares if is legal or not Microscum break users rights making this "Windows Vista only" garbage : If they did maybe after 3 years or 4 years after vista release when xp were less used and people pass the time period whne as OS is too new and the bus must addressed could be justificable but making for faster is rididculus . So Microcrap broke it's right using this unfair tactic against their users. Most companies doesn't do craps likethat . But Generally M$ does
And apart from that the crack just make the game compatible with xp doesn't break copy protection or the serial so I don't see the problem
I guess the real problem will come if M$ releases update patches of Halo 2 to fix or the other game they did this ( can't remember the name right now) coz the crack could stop function and it will need an updated version ( and We never know if the cracker will update the program or not)
