yeah there is a way now to backup GC games with a pc drive, its just like xbox/360. You need a special drive that is capable of creating images off the discs together with a special software

the drive for wii / gc games is LG 8164 B, the tool Raw-Dump v2.0 works with it and can create rawdumps of GC and WII discs.
