Nightmare is on a distinguished road
Hi,
sorry for the late reply
(I forgot my own thread )

One of my internet friends owns this game.
(He said it is the US/JAP version).
And he, too, believe it is slower than the PS2 NTSC version.
He checked the fps with fraps.
Fraps showed 60 fps.
And his machine is powerful enough to run this game without any problems.
So I guess it is something wrong with the game.

Maybe it is the same as in Resident Evil 4.
The PS2 PAL version runs as fast as the NTSC version.
However, the NTSC version runs smoother.
The PC version of RE4 seems a little bit laggy for me.
And the fps limit is 30!!
(I saw many screenshots of many people - fraps showed 30 fps)

So the PC versions of this both games seem like a PAL PS2 version.
The one is slow, the other is a little bit laggy.
Very sad

What do you think?

P.S. He uses v-sync, but 75 hz is the limit. So it does not brake the game's fps.

Greets
