When you first mount the mini image, with either Daemon Tools or Alcohol 120%, a window will open (most times anyway).
The window appears to be displaying all the files which would normally be on the disc. The files are not really there.
Just close the window and start the game from the normal desktop shortcut.
The mini image is just to trick the protection into thinking you have the disc in a drive.
