well ok, that crash is from the game itself by the looks of it...
not protection related..
crashed in d3d9.dll oddly enough, which implies a direct x issue
issue could possibly be...
1. invalid version of dx / corrupted version.. solution : reinstall direct x
2. outdated video card drivers used.. solution : get new video card drivers
3. insufficient memory in the video card.. 128mb is a bit low, but might be ok for skirmish.. campaign probably needs more memory (haven't checked the mimimum specs of the game though)... solution : get a new video card, but for a laptop that could be a little tricky...
so yeh. to answer your question.. its either your video card and/or direct x/drivers not up to date..
oh and using the no cd + yasu is pointless
the no-cd has the protection removed, thus no need for yasu
