Joe, that's strange.
I just uninstalled the game. Extracted the 'DarkEarth(files).rar' file

It 'created' 3 files (DeIsL1.isu, DKE.CFG, dkev.exe) and a folder called 'biganims' with 20 files inside. Executed dkev.exe and the CD screen appear.
