And yea, the game is total garbage... I tried to grind my teeth through it, without success... Gave up on the frustrating AI control....
Command a large squad while moving, click on an enemy, all of squad stops, and waits for enemy to walk into range, while they are slaughtering the guys closest to them....
(kinda the way you kill enemies... no intelligent combat AI present at all.... lol)
