okay..
1. sd4hide is old
2. check if sd4 hide made a backup of whatever it messed with
3. if u find it, revert the backup
4. if you cant (or it doesnt do a backup.. cant remember) try
removing the device from device manager, forcing the system to redetect it (hopefully)
5. u sure the drive actually has been asigned a letter?
6. is the drive identified/detected in the bios boot report?
7. power + ide cable are properly connected to the cd/dvd drive?
more info helps, sd4 could have messed up the system settings, but it shouldn't be physical (ie: device should show up on the post / bios report output)... if it isn't reported by the bios, check the cables etc, if that still doesnt work it might be dead...
