Yes there is a seperate Sub Forum for CD-2-DVD conversions, however the Rainbow 6 Vegas conversion needs editing as the information is not exactly correct or is mixed up over many threads. (I will eventually edit the entire thread and replace it with the conversion below.)
There are many different variations on how to perform this conversion including placing different cab files on each disc or even burning the first disc as a CD but below is the way I did it. When the install prompts for the next disc it will prompt for Disc 2. Other conversions will prompt for Disc 3!
Rainbow 6 Vegas
1) Create two Temp folders on your hardrive.
Name one folder R6VEGAS_DVD1 and name the other folder R6VEGAS_DVD2.
These will be the Labels of our 2 DVD5’s.
2) Copy all the contents of the R6VEGAS DVD except for the Data3.cab, Data4.cab, Data5.cab, Data6.cab and the Data7.cab files to the R6VEGAS_DVD1 folder.
3) Again copy all the contents of the R6VEGAS DVD but this time except the Data1.cab and the Data2.cab files to the R6VEGAS_DVD2 folder.
4) Using the Notepad open the autorun.inf file, found in the R6VEGAS_DVD2 folder, and change the line open= launcher.exe to open=0, just as it appears below:
NOTE: Do NOT edit the autorun.inf file for DVD1, only edit the autorun.inf for DVD2.

5) Create another folder, inside the R6VEGAS_DVD2 folder, named Update and copy the 1.03 update to this folder.
6) Create another folder, inside the R6VEGAS_DVD2 folder, named Crack, and copy the 1.03 NoCD crack to this folder.
7) Burn the contents of the R6VEGAS_DVD1 folder to a DVD with the Label: R6VEGAS_DVD1
8) Burn the contents of the R6VEGAS_DVD2 folder to a DVD with the Label: R6VEGAS_DVD2
NOTE: When installing you will be prompted to insert DVD2 containing the Data3.cab file.
Insert DVD2 and the install will continue.
