Rise of Legends Win2k
I really like Rise of Legends, but not enough to switch to XP. So I've been using the Win2k loader available at GCW. It worked fine until the latest patch, and now I get the dialogue:
"The procedure entry point AttachConsole could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll."
AttachConsole is XP-specific, so I assume this patch was an attempt to foil anybody using Win2k. I tried replacing the .exe with an earlier version, but that didn't do anything. I re-installed the game, and it worked, but I can't play online without updating it.
It's a old game. But maybe somebody knows something that could help.
