Cr7pt0r is on a distinguished road
No need for YASU or any other software other than DT to run the lastest possible version o NWN2 which is: 1.03840 (not 1.03835). I recommend updating your game through the Updater software. Why you ask.

Answers:
1. You cant screw the process.
2. You'll get for sure the original patch for your specific version. Mind that for instance there're 2 versions 1.03 (short description). 1.03835, 1.03840. If you download a patch saying it is 1.03 you'll never know what version you're getting.
3. The updater is there for something, and god bless it is there.
4. The updater will update itself if it is outdated.

In case you missed my previous post here's the basic step to run the lastest version possible simpler than any other method said in this forum:

1. Mounted my [MULTI] DVD ISO (created from the original files ofc) of the game with daemon408-x86.exe (most recent version of DT) and installed.
2. Closed DT with all EMU ON.
3. Updated the game through the "Update Neverwinter Nights 2" program.
4. Mounted the poseden_MAXI_NWN2.mds in DT (poseden image from GCW).
5. Closed DT with all EMU ON.
6. Started the game through the shortcut.

Working like a charm and as you can see I didnt use YASU, or any other potentially blacklisted crap program.

Possible reason why its not working for you:

1. You're not mounting an ISO from the original files. Probably its a ripped/cracked version.
2. You've sh*t blacklisted programs in your computer. (Possible from other games, cracks, you name it).

Possible solutions for you:

1. You dont know if you have sh*t blacklisted programs in your pc ?
1.1 Solution:
1.1.1 Format, reinstall windows, enough said.
1.1.2 Make an ISO from the original [MULTI4] DVD game.
1.1.3 Use the step-by-step provided by me.
1.1.4 Play the god damm game.

Tips: If you want to play online use your original cd-key.

Have fun and dont complicate what is simple.
