hm..
As you installed the game, the newest Directx was installed to, so no error from that.
But i Don't Know your Graphics Card, Maybe you should upgrade that, it runs with cheaper Cards like Older Radeon 9600 or Nvidia Cards for about 100 Bucks.
Do other Games work fine on your mashine ???
Try to download the newest Drivers for your GMA 3000 (This is an onboard GPU) first, maybe this solves the problem...
