If I'm not mistaken, "lightscribe" is for putting pictures to the unused part (the unwritten outer circumference) of the DVD. If you back up a factory DVD, there won't be any space left so you should rather use "printable" DVD's that have a white printable surface on their top and a printer that supports printable DVD's. (Make sure to use brand DVD's - TDK, Philips, Verbatim - as most of these printable DVD's are of low quality!)
As for DVD covers, well, A) scan your original or B) use Google (yes, there are lots of such sites but I'm not sure if they're legal).
