wouldnt it be a little strange if the 'parent' program (alc/daemon) can't do something a 'child' (ie: licensed and renamed) program can't, considering the drivers have the same functionality... you need to do some research mate..

banned from their server... possibly... really depends how the crack is done.. other cracks (warcraft 3 for example - gimpsrus) 'reroute' api calls like GetModuleFileName to the 'org' file, so checksums etc pass...
