Well....

1. As far as I know, there are no modchips yet, but there are ways to get around it....YOu can FLash the Dvd drive if you are lucky to know how and not FRAG it....check out xbox-scene for details.

2. Only certain burners can burn them I think, but you hook your computer to the dvd drive of the 360 and basically copy the game over...the other details are fuzzy, as I have not done mine yet and feel no need to look at it further until I do. Sucks though....I am sure more will chime in and help....But it can be done...You CAN play online with backups so far......Everything will have to be on dvd9 whether or not the game warrants such a disk......HTH
