vb i always regard as a 'prototype' language, prototype your crap in it, then code it in a real language... course this was in the vb4/6 days, when exe's got bloated .. hello world > 1mb etc, required runtime libs and so on, never ever looked at vb since those days, moved on to asm and c.. main preference was always asm though
