PS2 no mod, just patch file?
I'm having a problem. I haven't got the money to buy a mod chip, or any software to make burnt PS2 games work. I have the PS2 and a nice computer with plenty of burning programs. Though I realize a PS2 reads the interior ring of a CD/DVD, rather than the actual burnable disk to load, I was hoping possibly someone might have a way to help. Now I downloaded a PPF program because it said on gamecopy world that it was something I could use, but I have no idea HOW, and there aren't any instructions. I have no idea where to turn, I've been looking for programs to work for almost 3 years now, I know I could go buy at least 2 programs out there that would do fine, a friend of mine has them, but as I said, no money. I mean if I could afford to buy those, do you think I'd have a problem affording to buy a couple games? lol. So if you could give me a link to a website with DETAILED instructions on how to use PPF for PS2 games that's written in lamens terms, or if you could give me a link to some software for making the games work, I'd greatly appreciate it. For any of your concious out there that might be affected, if and when I do get enough money, I do just simply buy the games but it would be nice to know what the games were like without spending 7-8$ to rent and just test them, you know? Thanks.
