For anyone still interested
I've just uploaded a patch that includes a no-CD for Arcanum 1074 plus the level limit increase (to 126) which also removes that annoying "ali213" logo on startup. I don't know how long it will take to appear but those in a hurry can "roll your own" as follows:
- backup your original arcanum.exe;
- download the 1074 Fixed .exe (use another GCW mirror if this link doesn't work);
- use ArmKill to expand it;
- run the Arcanum Universal Cap Remover on this expanded file to create a new .exe;
- Rename this new file arcanum.exe and copy it into your Arcanum folder (overwriting any previous file there);
- add the expanded level rules file (xp_level.mes) only from the House of Lords No Level Cap / Level 127 Cap (don't use their copy of arcanum.exe since it lacks the no-CD patch);
- Enjoy!
