Exactly so, Kosmiq. You're not alone in your judgment. BUT:
- the EULA clearly prohibits any modifications to game files, unless there is an official tool supplied by developers, to make such modifications - no developer has ever published an SDK that allowed cracking!
- with this EULA limiting the ability to make a working backup, all game publishers give you the opportunity to exchange damaged media - you get a lifetime warranty.
Whereas I totally agree that using cracks makes it more comfortable to play (you don't have to search through the entire disc collection for the disc you need to use), it is still illegal, as it violates the EULA. Sorry, guys. And every country a game is published in, accepted international agreements that force this country's law enforcement agencies to take legal actions against EULA violation.
