I've used one of his phrases but i'm not Spath (btw in contrast to me a respected expert regarding optical media)
- All the modes listed by you/Nero are CD write modes
- even if there was a DVD RAW mode this wouldn't help with Securom or Starforce as they use special physical characteristics and not data that can't be written. Tages "only" uses twin sectors with different content -> no need for RAW mode, too. Maybe with Safedisc one may benefit of a RAW mode (hush... we'll soon see emulated copies of Safedisc DVD's, can't tell more for the moment

All copies of DVD titles are emulated ones (if emulation is needed), e.g. Alcohols RMPS emulates correct delays between checked sectors, or duration of reading sector(s)
P.S. I'd love to see an image of Alcohol's drop down menu for DVD write method
