Question Hate bringing up an old thread but...

Tried to play stronghold 2 1.3.1, used to be able to get it to work using starforce nightmare + daemon tools reg. disc image, but now I can't get it to work anymore (since I've forgotten the exact steps I used to make it work). Tried these steps below but it gives me "Emulator Detected!" error 100% of the time. Am I doing something wrong?
1) Install Alcohol 120% latest version.
2) Reboot.
3) Burn Miniimage of stronghold 2 found from gamecopyworld using ALcohol with RMPS enabled, Enabled Sub-Channel burning for securom games, burnt at 4X speed (600K/sec) on a cd-r.
4) Uninstall Alcohol 120%.
5) Reboot.
6) Enabled JUST Rmps emulation in Daemontools 4.03 for 32-bit systems.
7) Insert burned copy of the mini image into the cd rom drive and load game.
8) Game doesn't load at all (gives the emulation detected error message here), tried "Pr0t.St0p v1.0", "Securom Loader" and a few other securom 7 loading software in addition. None worked.

On a side note, completely disabling the scsi drives or turning off daemon tools entirely gives me the "Unable to load security blah blah blah" error.

Edit: Oh, wait, nevermind. Found the problem. Turns out that there are some unrelated programs that are sometimes picked up as being emulation software (why my wireless mouse software counts as emulation I'll never know...). Ctrl+Alt+Delete and kill process on everything there that wasn't vital to my desktop and it ran perfectly.
