I've been having trouble booting Echelon's backup of Unreal Tournament DC. I was able to inject the CDDA tracks without any problems, and the disc burned correctly. It boots fine, starts the Echelon "bouncing ball" intro and plays music, but when I press start, the screen goes dark, the DC sounds like it's reading properly, but then it returns me to the Dreamcast main menu (the drive continues to make ingame-sounding noises).
I looked into removing the Echelon logo following the instructions here...

...but was unable to extract the 1st_boot.bin data.
Is there an easier way around this? Did I burn the disc incorrectly, or miss any steps? If anyone has already removed Echelon's intro through a hex edit and has the 1st_boot.bin (which, in UT's case, is quite small) already available, it would be greatly appreciated.
