Check to make sure that wmiprvse.exe is running from the C:\WINDOWS\System32\Wbem folder. Use Windows Search (including hidden/system files/folders) to look for this file, are there copies of this file in other folders ? If so, which ones ? DABhand is right about what it should be, but there's a few spyware applications that use the same name.
Can you look in the Application Log (Event viewer) and see if there's any more information about this error ?
Oh and your direct x log mentions a crash in Directsound, so you might want to update your sound drivers (which card ?)
